About International Assistance Mission (IAM):
Background
The International Assistance Mission (IAM) is an International Non-Government Organization registered in Switzerland (registration #CH-660-1239000-6) and Afghanistan (registration #001). IAM is one of the oldest NGOs in Afghanistan. IAM’s mission is to serve the people of Afghanistan through capacity building in the sectors of health and economic development.
IAM established the NOOR (National Organization for Ophthalmic Rehabilitation) Eye Care Programme in 1966 with the goal of providing high quality and affordable access to eye care to the people of Afghanistan.
Purpose of the Project
Mazar NOOR Eye Hospital is one of the NOOR program projects working in eye health care since 1994.
Job Description:
Key Duties & Responsibilities
IAM staff responsibilities:
- Follow all IAM policies and procedures
- Practice IAM values and approaches while you are IAM employee.
Duties Responsibilities:
1. Managing the eye drops production department
2. Working in the production department
3. Preparing daily report of production
4. Preparing monthly report of production
5. Take care of drug in store
6. Help in drug store based on need
7. Work in other area of pharmacy department based on need
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and personal profile
- Proof of graduation form Pharmacy college
- Excellent knowledge about drugs.
- Respect for all people, and ability to work well in a team.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Confidence in dealing with large numbers of patients.
- Reasonable fluency in spoken Dari, Uzbaki and Pashto, as well as a working knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Commitment to IAM and hospital policies and procedures.
- Should be resident of Mazar I Sharif
